to Custom Homes
Long before building became Andrew’s profession, homes were a shared interest. Andrew and Stephanie spent years following new construction, touring homes and noticing the details that made each one distinctive.
After working in hospitality management and later owning businesses together, Andrew transitioned into real estate in 2006. His interest soon grew beyond buying and selling. A few years later, he began renovating and restoring properties alongside his father. Those early projects grew into complete builds, giving him experience from the first stages of construction through the finished details.
In 2016, that progression led to the founding of Marcus Moore Home Builders.

Andrew and Stephanie met in high school and have always loved calling North Georgia home. They have lived in Woodstock for nearly two decades and are raising their three boys here. These mountains, lakes and close-knit communities are the backdrop to their family’s life—and to the homes Andrew builds for other families throughout the region.

Marcus Moore Home Builders is intentionally a boutique builder. Andrew limits the number of full custom homes he takes on each year so he can remain personally involved in every one.
That means clients aren’t passed from a salesperson to a project manager once construction begins. Andrew remains their primary point of contact—communicating regularly, coordinating directly with his trusted team of subcontractors and staying closely connected to the details and decisions that shape each home.
For Andrew, that level of involvement isn’t an added service. It’s simply the way he believes a custom home should be built.

Andrew is personally involved in every stage of the building process, from the earliest conversations through the final details. He communicates with clients daily, coordinates directly with his subcontractors and works to identify questions, concerns and potential issues before they ever become problems for the homeowner.
Andrew is always ready to sit down and talk through ideas, options or concerns. His goal is to make the process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible, and to ensure every client feels confident, informed and genuinely cared for along the way.
